Heart shaped dishes

£10.00
Taxes included.

This small heart-shaped dish is hand-thrown in porcelain and gently shaped while still soft, giving it its quiet, organic, heart shaped form. The surface is finished in a soft celadon glaze and red iron oxide wash on the rim.

Its size and shape make it a versatile companion for everyday rituals — use it for dipping sauces, small side dishes, olives, or snacks, or keep it beside your cup to hold a used tea bag. It also works beautifully as a resting place for jewellery or other small objects.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

All of our functional wares are food-safe, microwave-safe, and dishwasher-safe. However, to help preserve the handcrafted quality of your ceramics and ensure they last as long as possible, we recommend hand-washing. Here’s how to care for your pieces:

Hand-Washing: For best results, gently wash your ceramics by hand using mild dish soap and a soft sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scrubbers, which can damage the surface.
Microwave Use: Our ceramics are microwave-safe, so you can confidently use them to heat your food. Just be cautious with extreme temperature changes, as rapid shifts can potentially cause cracking.
Dishwasher Use: While our ceramics are dishwasher-safe, we recommend hand-washing to extend their lifespan. If you do use the dishwasher, place the ceramics on the top rack to minimize exposure to high temperatures and harsh detergents.
Avoid Extreme Temperatures: To maintain the integrity of your ceramics, avoid placing them directly from the refrigerator or freezer into the microwave or oven. Allow them to reach room temperature before exposing them to high heat.
Storage: Store your ceramics in a dry, cool place to prevent moisture buildup, which could affect the finish over time.

By following these care instructions, you’ll help ensure that your handmade ceramics remain a cherished part of your home for years to come.
