Brush stroke dishes
These small porcelain dishes are hand-thrown and finished with a loose, gestural brush of colour. Each one is individually painted, so no two are ever the same — subtle variations in movement, tone, and balance make each piece quietly unique. Their size makes them naturally versatile. Use them for soy sauce, oils, or small condiments at the table, or keep one nearby to hold jewellery, rings, or other small, meaningful objects.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
All of our functional wares are food-safe, microwave-safe, and dishwasher-safe. However, to help preserve the handcrafted quality of your ceramics and ensure they last as long as possible, we recommend hand-washing. Here’s how to care for your pieces:
Hand-Washing: For best results, gently wash your ceramics by hand using mild dish soap and a soft sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scrubbers, which can damage the surface.
Microwave Use: Our ceramics are microwave-safe, so you can confidently use them to heat your food. Just be cautious with extreme temperature changes, as rapid shifts can potentially cause cracking.
Dishwasher Use: While our ceramics are dishwasher-safe, we recommend hand-washing to extend their lifespan. If you do use the dishwasher, place the ceramics on the top rack to minimize exposure to high temperatures and harsh detergents.
Avoid Extreme Temperatures: To maintain the integrity of your ceramics, avoid placing them directly from the refrigerator or freezer into the microwave or oven. Allow them to reach room temperature before exposing them to high heat.
Storage: Store your ceramics in a dry, cool place to prevent moisture buildup, which could affect the finish over time.
By following these care instructions, you’ll help ensure that your handmade ceramics remain a cherished part of your home for years to come.
